Yoplait Light is set to introduce 3 new "cake inspired" flavors in August 2008. You will be able to feast on Strawberry Shortcake, Raspberry Cheesecake and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - all of which will be fat free with 110 calories and 20% of the recommended daily value of calcium and vitamin D in each 6 ounce cup.
"No matter how you slice it, the rich and creamy flavors of Yoplait Light will help health-conscious consumers enjoy everyday indulgences without the guilt," said Susanne Prucha, Yoplait Marketing. The new Yoplait Light cake-inspired flavors will be available nationwide August 2008 at a suggested retail price of $0.72 per 6 oz cup. That seems like a price increase to me, since I usually pay $0.50 for each. Nevertheless, since Yoplait Light is my favorite fat-free yogurt, I am highly awaiting a chance to taste-test these flavors.
