Tropicana Orange Juice Blunder. Click And Sip Straws
What I wasted my money on today: Tropicana Orange Juice with the Click and Sip Straws.
Although I don't buy Tropicana Orange Juice (Simply Orange for me), I decided to purchase a pack of 6 (8 ounce) boxes, solely because I wanted to try out the "Click and Sip Straws." What a waste of money that turned out to be.
The principle behind this "Click & Sip" straw is that you extend it until it clicks to lock it in place. Then you punch the straw through the bullseye on the box and sip away. This sounds very simple and shouldn't be a big deal, except that Tropicana messed up the straw. The juice flow is not smooth because it seems like air is getting in somewhere, and this is complete with a kind of slurping noise whenever you attempt to drink. I thought the first box of juice might have a defective straw, so I tried another box - same thing - and yet another - no difference! To make matters worse, it seems Tropicana wanted to make sure you use the straw so they made the box incredibly difficult to open. Why Tropicana, would you let this product onto the supermarket shelves knowing it was crap?! Or did you really think consumers would enjoy hearing that slurping noise from the "jacked up" straw?

Well I LOVE this product. The straws are somewhat cumbersome but overall I have had fewer problems than you apparently have had.
