LaraBar is now part of General Mills

LARABARGeneral Mills closed an agreement on June 11, 2008, to purchase Humm Foods, makers of LARABAR and Larabar Jocolat. The brands will become part of Small Planet Foods, the natural and organic products group of General Mills, which houses the Cascadian Farm and Muir Glen brands.

Larabars are all natural snack bars which are made up of no more than 6 ingredients - a combination of fruit and nuts - no added sugars and minimal processing. There are 14 flavors of Larabar and 6 types of Jocolat. I don't kid you when I say these are insanely delicious in addition to being made from healthy ingredients. My current favorite is the Cherry Pie bar (read the review). We hope that this brand will continue to flourish under General Mills.
