Cocoa Puffs Cereal is getting a shake up with new Cocoa Puffs Combos. This is the first Cocoa Puffs flavor extension since the brand launched its "munchy, crunchy, chocolaty" version in 1958. Fifty years later, new Cocoa Puffs Combos pair two top-tasting puffs - vanilla and chocolate - in every breakfast bowl. This new flavor was reviewed at The WestWord Food Blog, and they weren't complimentary about the taste.

Taste: Over the years, Cocoa Puffs' level of chocolateness has varied -- often super rich (those are the good times), but occasionally dialed down. Unfortunately, the Combos combination leans in the latter direct ... Combos isn't terrible -- it's hard to completely screw up Cocoa Puffs -- but it's a notably mild munch. There's nothing to get excited about here, and that's a shame.
